Kathy Hagen is a registered professional engineer with more than 33 years of structural engineering design experience in steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed steel, aluminum and wood structures. Her work is characterized by the high quality of design she provides, her effective leadership and communication skills and the empathy she exhibits for her clients' concerns.
Kathy has extensive experience in the preparation, submittal and approval of construction documents and specifications. Working with both public and private clients Kathy has been involved in all aspects of the design and construction process. Prior to founding KH Engineering Group in January 2004, Kathy worked for top ten architectural firms in the Washington, DC, metro area and the Kansas City metro area. She has worked at AE, EA and structural firms.
